It integrates multiple sensing capabilities, including electrocardiogram (ECG), oxygen saturation (SpO₂), phono-cardiogram, and pulse rate monitoring. The device enables real-time and stored data transmission via wired and wireless connections, including computers, the internet, and mobile phones.

HeartThrob offers multi-factor medical measurements with digital data storage and transmission capabilities. It ensures seamless connectivity through phone lines, wireless networks, and portable storage options such as USB and flashcards. Designed for portability, it can communicate with handheld devices, making it an ideal solution for remote patient monitoring.

Implementation & Role

• Our team was responsible for embedding this technology into a compact, efficient device. Key contributions included:
• Microcontroller & Interface Programming – Ensuring seamless sensor integration and efficient data processing.
• Handheld Device Programming – Developing software for real-time monitoring and user interaction.
• Productization – Optimizing the device for mass production, affordability, and regulatory compliance.
